Exceptional Stay with Delightful Dining Experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night getaway! The highlight was the Sunday carvery—great value at £7.99, with tender beef and friendly service. Remember, room keys open the outer door, a handy tip for late-night returns. We're definitely coming back!

Oh, the Sunday carvery at the Red Lion is a must-try! Perfectly cooked meats and all the trimmings that will leave your taste buds dancing. Not to mention, the breakfast is fit for a king! And the cozy, friendly vibe of the pub makes you feel right at home.
In all honesty, I can’t find much to cuss about. If you’re on public transport, it’s a wee trek from the railway station, but no sweat—bus stops are a hop away! Just a little planning, and you’re golden.

I loved the atmosphere, especially sitting by the open fire! 😊 The food was great value too. Only downside was the noise from outside until late at night, but it is a pub after all.

The pub has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff who are eager to help. Rooms can get a bit noisy from bar patrons, especially if you're near the entrance, but the breakfast was fantastic. Dining options looked promising, although the lasagna could use more attention.
